Commuters Being Given a Sign: There Are Options
SPC and PENNDOT Partner to Show Commuters A Way Out Of Their Cars
Commuters looking for alternatives to driving alone to work everyday will soon get the sign they’ve been waiting for. SPC’s CommuteInfo program has teamed up with PENNDOT to install new informational signs throughout the region. Blue and white signs along heavily traveled roadways will encourage regional commuters to call for “Vanpool, carpool, transit info 1-888-819-6110” or visit www.CommuteInfo.org.
The first 25 commuters to register on CommuteInfo’s website who include the location of their “sign sighting” will receive a special incentive. Register for free online at www.CommuteInfo.org or by calling 1-888-819-6110.
